manufactured by Ferrus Power Ltd. including the now obsolete Ferrus Power FW150-211 power supply as
used by Snell and Wilcox.
At A1 Power Engineering (UK) we hold all of the original manufacturing, test and modification information for the FW150-211 product supply and offer an unrivaled repair and refurbishment service for this product.
In addition to servicing this product we further upgrade the design to the latest manufacturing standard to improve future reliability.
Most common problems reported with this unit are low or intermittent output voltage, intermittent start when cold, noisy operation or dead unit.
All components replaced are in line with the original manufacturers parts list to ensure continued safety
compliance with VDE and UL60950 certification.
As part of the service process we check and replace all capacitors where required for high quality, long life
Japanese brands only rated to 105 Deg C (typically Rubycon, Panasonic or Nichicon). As we service this
product on a regular basis we hold a high inventory of components to enable us to provide a fast and
efficient turnaround within 5 days, or within 24hrs for urgent requirements.
Products are fully functionally tested (including safety testing) to the original Ferrus Power specification via
our specialist electronic loads and shipped with a full 2 Year warranty (terms apply).
