At A1 Power Engineering (UK) we have extensive experience in the repair and refurbishment of all power supplies manufactured by Fox Industries Ltd and specialise in the servicing of the now obsolete F5513 range of custom AC/DC power supplies used within the Marine Communications MicroSwitch Digital series of telephone exchanges (MCL part MSWD8,MSWD16,MSWD24,MSWD32,MSWD40).
We fully recognise the urgency for a fast turnaround of this product due to shipping regulations and potential port inspections and can turnaround your product within 24hrs (same day if arrival by 10.00 am). Return shipment is via DHL express 24 hr and usually delivered next day within europe.
We are the only service centre to hold all of the original manufacturing documentation for these products including parts lists and schematics to ensure that servicing is carried out in line with original marine safety approvals. We are the worldwide service agents for all major shipping agents worldwide.
The most common reported problem with these units is intermittent operation or non functioning via AC input due to known issues which are rectified during the refurbishment of the unit.
The F5513, F5513/2 and F5513/3 AC-DC & DC-DC power supplies were manufactured for Fox Industries by a manufacturer whom we were once employees of and can identify and replace all components within these products (no matter how severe the damage may appear).
We are also able to replace / fit new output cable assemblies (as commonly removed by customers) - however please be aware that we do not supply this as a component spare part.
The product is fully tested on both AC and DC sources with all alarm functionality fully checked.
Due to known reliability issues we update / modify these products in line with the latest manufacturing information to improve future reliability - beware others are not party to this information.
During the repair process the condition of all stressed components is checked and replaced where required.
Products are fully functionally tested (including safety testing) via our specialist electronic loads and shipped with a full 12 months warranty (terms apply).
